1924      Gustav Schröder founds the firm as a manufacturer of metal goods.

1950The automobile industry places its first orders for stamped, formed and drawn components.

1960The business is enlarged to include plastic-injection moulding.

1993The production programme is expanded through the introduction of fully automated assembly line manufacturing.

1996Tool making is hived off and the subsidiary company schnitt + form is founded. The company’s quality management system receives its first certification under DIN ISO 9001.

1997A new stamping shop and a new logistics building are constructed.

1998The QM system is certified under VDA 6.1 and QS 9000.

2001Output is expanded with Bruderer stamping technology.

2002Assembly technology is enhanced by the introduction of a fully automated round-table unit.

2003The company goes into linear assembly production; the QM system is certified under ISO/TS 16949.

2005The Environment Protection System is certified under DIN EN ISO 14001.

2009Membership in the "Brancheninitiative Gesundheitswirtschaft Südwestfalen"
